Matthews Flower Farm is a small, family-run farm nestled around a 100+ year-old farmhouse, where everything we grow is rooted in meaning. From nostalgic heirloom flowers to farm-fresh eggs, we believe in slowing down, digging deep, and creating beauty that feels familiar and true.

We’re bringing back your grandma’s flowers—the ones with ruffles, fragrance, and personality. Think zinnias, snapdragons, sweet peas, and cosmos, along with tens of thousands of blooming daylilies, lush peonies, vibrant azaleas, and the graceful blooms of crepe myrtles. These are the flowers that once filled backyard gardens, tin cans on windowsills, and kitchen tables during Sunday dinner—and we’re proud to grow them again.

What started as a dream to reconnect with the land has grown into something much more—a place to gather, share, and remember. Our farm honors the past while blooming with purpose for the future. Every seed we plant and each bloom we nurture carries a story.

    Hi, I’m Carie — Coming back to the farm brought me back to my roots. Dirt under my nails, flowers in my heart, and a rhythm to the days that reconnects me to what matters most. Matthews Flower Farm has been part of my family for generations, and I love carrying on its story — tending the land, growing blooms, and sharing the little joys of farm life with you. This is a place where nature, family, and simple pleasures come together, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way here.

    I’m Shawn — the one making sure everything on the farm actually works. From tackling projects and repairs to keeping the daily operations running smoothly, I spend my days problem-solving, building, and making sure the farm thrives. It’s all part of keeping the day-to-day life of the farm moving, and I love that we do it together.

    Maverick

    I’m Maverick, the farm’s four-legged overseer. I keep an eye on the fields, supervise the chickens (from a safe distance), and make sure everyone gets their fair share of cuddles. Life on the farm is full of adventure, naps in the sun, and the occasional mud puddle, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.escription goes here
